“I’m like a magpie with lyrics. I’ll be watching or reading something. My books are full of dog-ears because I notice something on a page I read so I can steal the line... The line “A monument to compromise”, the very last bit before the outro, is from a Rick and Morty episode of all things. Again, I’m a lyrical magpie and I’ll see something on TV and take the line out of context entirely.”
